Hi guys! What’s brewing in the Italian magic world?
Let’s join the Masters of Magic Lab, the fantastic novelty by Walter Maffei.



The new workshop of Italian Magic is born to offer a real show to the conjurers to create, arrange and adapt a magic number and refresh their repertoire, coming up to an artistic growth, technical and above all theatrical.

Various professionals will provide their knowledge to the growth of new magicians, giving them the chance to try several acts comparing themselves with a real public, and study their reactions to do it better. Following the philosophy of the Paris scène-ouvertes and the New York Open-Mic, where everyone can freely choose when to perform, there aren’t any cost or bond of participation.

Primary aim of the Lab is the diffusion of the magic cultural heritage to the “muggles”, according to the seven pillars, basics of the vision of Masters of Magic: Play, Communication, Philosophy, Research, Aggregation, Improvement and Evolution.

Meetings take place biweekly every Sunday at the Caffè Teatro, the prestigious show place close to Milan.

The ultimate goal of the MoM Lab is to bring the best magic acts to the international gala in collaboration with Masters of Magic and to the Italian Championship of Magic, which will be held during the Magic Convention of Saint Vincent in April 2012 and afterwards broadcast on RAI 2.
